Mickey was someone we all had a little crush on when we were freshman. He worked at the bagel place on Saturdays and I remember my girlfriends and I going in for bagels just to see him. He was a pretty terrific guy...

What Matel said. I sat in front of Mickey in a Mechanical Drawing class when he was a senior and I was a lowly sophomore. Fond memories . . .

I remember first seeing Mickey in the hallway and thinking he was adorable.

Is this the same Mickey Gross who was a member of the Quints and later became an

orthopedic surgeon? I ran into him years ago at Beth Israel Hospital in NYC.  I recall his sweet

smile as a Wingate student.  This news is very sad.  --Jackie Savage

I was very sad to see that Mickey had passed away. He was a great guy, funny and as others have mentioned, sweet and crush-worthy. Mickey was part of a group of kids that I spent a lot of time with - in an out of school. It seems like for a long time our group ate lunch together every day...our table generally as I remember included Mickey. Hard to believe he is gone...how did we all get so old?
