I met Eileen In 1985 she was working in the BPL as a children’s librarian. She was quite a storyteller ! Her Mom Sara always sang to her. Therefore it is said of Eileen, she always had a song on her lips. Her oft said expression embodies who she was, She Was Good People.

Eileen and I were friendly while we were in Winthrop JHS. We were both crazy about the TV show The Man From UNCLE. We even wrote a script for a play to be performed in the school. I don't remember if the show actually went on.

I remember Eileen! We were not close but she was always friendly and just a nice person in general. That's a rare commodity in itself! The loss of someone will always hurt everyone who knew the person. My condolances to Eileen's family and friends. Remember the laughter and goodness she brought into your lives. She will always be watching over you.
