Richard Wayne Church (who would have graduated with his own Class of 1969 had it not been for 1 credit!) was born January 23, 1951 in Houston, TX but spent all his formative years growing up in Brownfield. He lost his battle with leukemia on November 16, 2004 in Lubbock, TX. He was survived by his two sons, Brennon and Shannon. Were he still living, he would now be the VERY proud grandpa to Brennon and his wife Darlene's two adorable boys, Aidan and Conor. He is greatly missed by his entire family including his brother, Dan Church of Houston (Class of 1967) and his sisters Marsha Bailey also of Houston (Class of 1970) and Diana Porter of Lubbock (Class of 1971).
