David Dawson died peacefully at his home in Texarkana on December 28, 2009, losing his two year battle with brain cancer.  Although he was determined to beat the disease, it finally won.   He is survived by his wife, Carol (Doss) Dawson; a son, Nicholas and daughter-in-law, Rachel; a daughter, Stephanie and son-in-law Kevin Little; four grandchildren - Asher and Avril Little and Brayden and Harley Dawson, as well as one sister and three brothers.
