Comments:
After high school, I went to cosmetology school and became a hair stylist and instructor. I moved to Huntsville and went to work.
Raymond and I were married in 1963. I continued to work until our daughter, Robin was born. I then became a a stay-at-home mom.
In the 1980's I traveled with Raymond across the southern states. He was a commercial construction supervisor. I really enjoyed the sightseeing.
Every year we vacationed in Colorado with our best friends. We all loved the mountains and the wildlife.
In my mid fifties I went to work in the activity department at a nursing home. It was a most rewarding job and lots of fun. I retired at 65.
Early in 2008 Raymond was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. In September of that year he lost the battle.
I'm living with a spoiled rotten 14 year old diabetic cat. He "owns" the place and lets me stay here. Some days it's debatable as to who takes care of who.
Recently, I have reconnected with classmates at our monthly luncheons.
