Vonnie Nell Pauling, 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2026. Visitation will be from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, with her celebration of life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, both at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center. Interment will follow at Rest Ever Memorial Park Cemetery.

Vonnie was born on September 3, 1943, in Bryan, Texas, to Frederick Riggs and Mary Hayes Riggs. She was a graduate of SFA High School in Bryan, Texas. She married Conrad Pauling on December 23, 1961, and they were married for 60 years until his passing.

Vonnie retired from ARC/AMS after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong member and former pianist of Trinity Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conrad Pauling; brother, Bobby Riggs; sister, Maude Dean Rich; and step-grandson, Clint Werth.

Vonnie is survived by her children, Connie and husband Cash Reed, Carol and husband Mark Skinner, Mark and wife Melissa Pauling, and Amy and husband Don Werth; grandchildren, Jasmine Reed and fiancé Dave Cebrero, Lane Reed, Cassie and husband Ahmed Butt, Taylor Loehr, Harley Hamilton, Matthew Loehr, and Steven and wife Victoria Pauling; step-grandsons Dustin Werth and Ross and Aaron Gibson; great-grandchildren, Emma and Ezra Ahmed; sister-in-law Frances Riggs; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
