We may have had our differences but Nancy was a wonderful friend and a great mother to both Ernie and Sheryl.  She put up one hell of a fight these last few years and never gave up hope.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Larry Im so sorry to hear about Nancilee as you know we lived across the street from each other on Homewood.  I was in third grade when we moved there and we were very close in our grade school years.  We put on plays in my folks yard with the twins. We would put up chairs in the patio and invite the whole neighborhood.  We had a rope tied from one fruit tree in the back yard and would pretend we were tight rope walkers untill my Dad noticed that the peach tree had a slight angle to it from our weight there went our walking.  In fact she wore my wedding gown when you two got married, I still have it up in the closet. I have so many memorys of her grandmother Ma Lopp and her Mom and Dad.  Her Mom was so good to take me places with them . It was a good place to grow up.  She was a hard worker and a achiver.  I tried to get hold of her several times but never had any luck now I will have to wait till heaven.

What wonderful memories I have with Nancy as one of my neighborhood friends of 16 years.  We played dressup with our Mother's old sheer curtains and fancy hats that were made up with feathers, old beads, sequins and pins that were arranged on straw hats.  We would swing in her parents hammock and would take 6 slices each of White Wonderbread and make animal shapes out the bread and then bite the legs, heads and body !  Lots of laughter and fun times.

I always envied her because she had her birthday in the summer and she would have parties at the park and the beach (my favorite place the beach) when I have usually cold and rainy days for my birthday in February.

We went to Monterey and Carmel to represent the Y-Teens, Nancy a Sophmore and I a Freshman for 1 week. Again, we had a great time.

Nancy was an encourager and spontaneous with her wit and humor.

And as life would have it we went different directions as we got older but the memories of our childhood will always be in our hearts.
