Enlisted in USAF in 1961. Married Joyce Strasser in 1963 and we recently celebrated our 46th Wedding Anniversary. Stayed in the Air Force for 24 years and they allowed me to pursue B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees. Retired from Air Force in 1985 and became a college Professor at The University of Florida and retired (again) as Professor Emeritus at Auburn University.

Joyce and I live in a small beach community (population 1,250 with no traffic light!) in the Florida panhandle. We enjoy all types of water related activities (especially fishing), traveling and spending time with our children and grandchildren.
