HAPPY BIRTHDAY Judith Kibby (Lowe).  May you have 78 more or less. (But not too many less.)

It has been approximately 78 years since we were born.  We have been through a lot, all of which is now history, but it was just us living our lives.  Think of this, 78 years before we were born was 1868.  That was just after the Civil War.  That is a lot of history too.

Kathy Meer (Tolien),

Been meaning to write this.  Thank you ao much for your birthday wish.  I was surprised, pleased, and emotionally touched.  In high school there was a pecking order.  Cheer leaders were angels flying high in the sky.  Jocks were super popular warriors, heroes, and real "guy guys".  The student goernment people were way up there in the stratosphere as were the theater people, band members, and other involved students.  Then there were the mere mortals.  And at the bottom were people like me- unimportant, invisible.  I didn't even know you knew who I was.

So thank you from me down here to you up there.

Don Markle

Thank you to the committee for planning such a wonderful 60th reunion.  I didn't know anybody there from our class, but it is a big year for us and I'm so glad I went.  The pavillion was perfect and the food was delicious!
I hope to see you in 10 years!

I echo thanks for the fun time reconnecting at our 60th.  I wasn't sure I'd know many folks (812 of us) but was so glad to see familiar faces and enjoyed catching up on our lives!  Bob and the committee did a great job, food was delicious...well organized and pulled off beautifully!

Great job from the reunion committee! It was so nice catching up with old friends and even making new ones. Maybe because our class was so big, we didn't know everone back then or we just forgot haha.  Everything was perfect.

I will echo all the last few comments about the 60 year reunion.  I enjoyed seeing some old friends and talking to some new ones.  Thanks to the organizing crew and maybe we can do this again in a few more years ( maybe 5 or 10).

Hi, all!  I'm soooo glad I was able to attend the 60th of the class of 64!!!   I was at the 25th, the 50th, now the 60th - maybe we can't pull off a 70th...., but can we think about an 80th birthday picnic?  I'll help the committee where I can, but not in a leadershp capacity.  Thank you all for a terrific effort to get us together.  Those who missed, don't even know what they missed!  Go Ken West!!!

Our classmate and friend, Danielle (Morsheimer) Battaglia, just published beautifully written book.  On the surface, it is about her adventures and observations while rowing on a river in Delaware.  It is really funny (and fun) to read;  but, she uses the joy and travails of rowing, in single and multi-person boats, to share profound insights about human nature and the world she encountered. It is just great.  Send it to someone you like for the upcoming holidays.

Out of My Scull: Mayhem & Misadventures on Delaware’s Christiina River

2024.  You can get it on Amazon:

Sending something to the class is not something I do lightly, but sharing the successes of old friends is surely appropriate.  Danielle does not know that I wrote this!

OMG, Richard. What a lovely and kind thing to do. Thank you. And thanks for being my friend.

Dani, congratulations on your publishing success!  I plan to read it soon and promise not to fake laugh, which I have never done and do not intend to ever do!

Dani,

Delighted for you. I bought it on Amazon and the envelope arrived today, but it was empty. So they're sending me a "replacement copy." Can't wait to dive in.

Sarah Kennedy (Domster)

Congratulations, Dani!  Who would have dreamed all those years ago that our class would have so many accomplished students.  It's wonderful to read of everyone's successes.  I can't wait to read your book!

Danielle Morsheimer (Battaglia)

Hi Kihm and Sarah,

It is kind of you two to follow Richard's advice. I hope you will not be too disappointed. Yes, I, too, marvel at the successes of our classmates, and I expect we don't know the half of it. In case the class doesn't know, Khim wrote a book a while back. Kihm, I can't remember the title.

Kathy, I'm so sorry if I made a comment about your laugh. I honestly don't remember, and I was a pretty naive and stupid teenager. I've thought of you often and how we were such good friends during 9th grade. I so admired you. I remember the beautiful times in choir. Thank you for being my friend when I was a naive and stupid teenager.

Congratulations Dani!!  Ordered it today. Can't wait to read it.  Hope all is well.  Have thought about you when we had our 60th reunion,  Remember many good times in the convertible.

Danielle Morsheimer (Battaglia)

Remember Molly when we used to drive around collecting for sale signs in front of homes and setting them up on the lawn in front of some unsuspecting boy's house. Doubt we ever thought about what his parents thought when waking up to five or six for sale signs in front of their house. Did those guys ever figure out it was us? That convertible saw some fun and silly times.

Dani,  congratulations on your accomplishment I have ordered and look forward to reading it. My granddaughter rows and is at West Side. The same club my dad rowed at and was active until he passed.
