Dani,

My favorite part was the Via Ferrata; you could have written a whole book about that. I admire your courage.

Dani,  What a great book.  I'm almost finished and have chuckled, laughed out loud and realized it has brought back some wonderful memories.  My Dad was a rower at Westside Rowing club and did so for many years until he broke is foot (not rowing)  and had to stop.  Tha's a whole other story.  But I remember him taking me down to the club and watching the activities and watching them row.  Your book has brought back a flood of really great memories that haven't come to mind in a long long time.  Thanks for joggong my memorie and my compliments on a special book.  Thanks  Fred Ego

Danielle Battaglia,

I do not know you though we were classmates, so I ordered your book.  It is the right thing to do, plus I am a nice guy.  Plus I like a good read.

BEWARE you orderers of books.  There are 432 (well almost) books with this title.  One I think was by you about Africa.  I am not a detail person, so I did not pay attention.

I am looking forward to reading your book.  Congratulations on writing and publishing.

Danielle

I am not looking forward to reading "Out of my Skull, the Psychology of Boredom".  I am sure I will learn much about boredom from reading this $ 22 book

Clarification on my book. The title is Out of My Scull, Mayhem and Misadventures on Delaware's Christina River for $11.99.  It's about rowing and friendships, not psychology.

Danielle,

Your title is a great play on words.  I knew this but did not pay attention.  My copy comes tomorrow.  Thank you for writing it.  If I ever read the book on psychology, I will give you a book report.

Hello class of '64.  Tis the time for giving thanks.  You all helped launch me into adulthood . Thank you so much. I am thankful for my life.  It has been a good ride.  I wish you all the same.

I have had some criticism on my synopsis of the heirarchy of our class back in our day..  I stand by it's truth, but I meant no harm.  My son says I should stop my humor because no one gets it and it is not humorous.

With all my heart,

Don Markle

Bravo Danielle J. Batttaglia (Morsheimer, p. 154 of the Kenitorial '64.).  I finished your book with a warmed heart and tears in my eyes.  You are truly an adventurous person.  You have done more in your lifetime than most people could do in 3 lifetimes. Thank you for opening your life in your book and letting me share some of it's moments.

Sadly I report that my twin brother Richard "Dick" Allen died in the early morning hours of January 22, 2025. Alzheimer's disease was the culprit. He was a devoted father and teacher of special needs high school students in Belmont, MA. His teaching career lasted over 50 years, only ending less than 2 years ago.  His wife and children survive him, along with our sister Barbara '66 and I.

Bob,

Sorry to hear the news about your brother.  He sure was a blessing throughout his life both at K-West and beyond.  I pray that you are comforted with positive memories of him.
