I am sorry to learn about Penny's passing. My memory of her was a long time ago in kindergarden at Lindbergh, with Miss Rogers. Penny and I shared a sneaker/rug drawer. That memory goes back over about 73 years. My sympathies to her famiy.

I was heartbroken when I learned of Penny's passing last year. We were extremely close from junior year through our marriages! In high school we spent a lot of time together during overnights at her house and listening to her parents play "country" music-singing and dancing to it! I also spent weekends at Lime Lake with her and her parents doing a lot of water skiing. When she got engaged to Bob I was excited to help her plan the wedding and my mother even made her bridesmaids dresses-what fun it was! A few years later when Rich and I got engaged she was a bridesmaid in my wedding while expecting her first son-how special that she gave me a bridal shower while I gave her a baby shower! And then we lost touch- A few months before our 50th reunion Barb gave me her phone number and it was then that I learned Bob was very ill and she wouldn't be able to come to the reunion-we never touched base after that and I will always regret it. I'm sure she will be missed by her children and all who loved her! Jan MacDermot Hartman
