I seem to remember that Lou Tice also taught a "health" class too, which was a bit excruciating, since I didn't think he knew much. It was a similar situation with history, which was taught by another coach (football?) whose name is lost in the sands of time.

Tice went on to found a self-help institute (Pacific something?) that people were excited about for awhile.

I am getting a little tired of these homeless people. I was driving by and saw this homeless person standing on the corner with a sign that said "Will work for food."

I offered him an onion to paint my house. He gave me the finger!

Ya see... some of these people can be rude.

For those who believe in God, you might find this Julie Green podcast interesting. People all over the world listen to her week day prophesy podcasts. She has presented at Clay Clark's Reawaken America events (where we met her last year.) She is from Iowa and is the daughter of a Pastor who was also known as a modern day prophet. I am just sharing. She has listeners who are friends of mine both here and in Italy. The propheses from God through Julie are often provable if you do your research and understand what's going on across the globe. We listen to her most mornings when we are home. God calls our nation '"His Eagle". Enjoy today's podcast on our "Freedom" from Julie. The truth will not be accepted by all who will fear the changes that are happening. NO ONE AND NOTHING CAN CHANGE WHAT IS COMING TO FREE OUR NATION FROM NWO SUBJUGATION TACTICS. RESIST Communism and evil. Protect the children from being brain-washed into transgenderism, violence, and pedophilia. BE STRONG. PRAY.

JUST SHARING - Here is a good article. It is chock full of real biological scientific information (summarized) on several key COVID treatment drugs and why they usually can help the infected patient survive:

https://www.algora.com/Algora_blog/2023/04/15/covid-19-drugs-are-all-anti-malarial-here-is-why

The Regeneron Infusion process and an Ivermectin treatment along with the Dr. Zelenko protociols that my doctor selected and monitored worked for me to heal from the man-made bioweapon virual attack on my respitory system a little over two years ago. I am very grateful to still be alive.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regeneron_Pharmaceuticals

I survived my COV-19 infection in spite of the Big Pharma lies, Federal Government censoring, and NGO misinformation media campaigns. Follow the money, reports, and Fauci email records pertaining to: EPA Chapel Hill Labs research projects, DTRA lab programs, DHHS/DoD bioagent foreign labs research grants, PREDICT-Ecohealth Alliance Program, and a long trail of previously-filed patents. The promoters and creators of the plandemic pathogens spread must pay for their crimes against humanity through focused and concise military tribunals like the Nuremburg Trials after WWII. The guilty perpetraitors have been warned. No amnesty should be offered.

This is very sad to see.  We left 6 years ago and moved to Florida. One of our reasons for leaving was the homeless population continually growing.  We watched for over twenty years, the blue tarps under the bridges and overpasses.  Thus far, over a billion dollars has been spent, and it just keeps growing.  Breaks our hearts to see that beautiful city deteriorate, not that Florida doesn't have its homeless population too.

Sorry to pass along the news but Tim Jones passed away yesterday. He had been living with prostate cancer for awhile. Lots of great memories over the years.

Thank you, Steve, for your considerate note about Tim. Sad news, indeed.

I first got acquainted with Tim on the junior high ski bus, and through high school and adulthood being around him in person, or in more recent years enjoying his periodic reminiscences in the message forum (he was an excellent writer, cheerful and thoughtful), you could count on the same easygoing personality, good-natured disposition, and gentlemanly demeanor.

It is sad to hear about Tim's passing. I had not read his profile page, so I was unaware of his health problems. I enjoyed reading his comments, and the sharing of his memories of past days on this forum. RIP, Tim.

i also am grieved about the death of Seattle. Once being my home city (I was born in Olympia), the condition of the city has degenerated so much that it's shocking to me. My observations of the filth, crime, and corruption has convinced me that I would not move back near there to live again. My youngest daughter still lives up there, but we can avoid the worst areas to get to their house in Sandpoint. Who would have guessed what would transpire in the Emerald City mere decades after 1962? Such a waste...

One cultural/economy change that started the destruction of the retail business in Seatlle was the loss of large retail stores that sold quality brand name products and customer services like the Bon Marche and Fredrick & Nelson. The City Mayor, Council, and Police Chief in the past would have protected the shopping environment and those type of businesses much like the large European cities of the time. They promoted a safe shopping atmosphere to draw visitors and rural folk alike to PNW culture, Farmers Market type foods, specialty bakeries, hand made sausage, seafood, local brews, and fine imports for commerce and safe walk-around entertainment.Visitors could shop at quality retail stores while enjoying the view and history of Seattle as a gateway to the orient and North American recreation wildernesses in Canada and Alaska.

I think that it's ironic that even Bozo's Amazon corporate operations people could not live with the horrible changes in the downtown working environment. If there is no sales and visible law & order, then there are no taxes to pay for a desireable city with public safety for decent, law-abiding people... I wonder how those people who bought expensive condos in the dowtown area feel about their urban jungle home location decision now? I worked in downtown Seattle in 2005 for Andrews Space and I could see and smell the death of the culture then. Andrews Space wisely moved to Tukwila.

The lightning storm the other day reminded me of living in northern Texas during the mid-1980's. Pretty cool! That is a really good lightning storm photograph, Bill.

It always amazes me how old the KJR song selections looked in the spring of 1964 compared to the rock and roll band music that we listened and danced to at the local dance halls of the time. PNW music was not considered "money-making" music entertainment by the big selling labels in 1964. The Beattles certainly released their music under many different labels in 1964. I enjoyed the 1980's music more.

Tim Jones' daughter, Zoanna, has written a wonderful tribute to her father. However, because of the format it is written on I am currently having problems posting it on our website.  To read what Zoanna has written please go to:     timothyjones.org.

I was cleaning out a box of old papers and found The 1964 Pirates Pen.  I had no idea so many of you were very good writers!

Also found 2 Sylvester's year books.

Does anyone remember the lyrics to the song about our vice principal (I think).  It went to the tune of West Side Story's song Officer Krupke.

Do you know who wrote it?

05/07/23 05:57 AM #1834

Ted Comstock (Briggs-Comstock)

Cheryl--I vaguely remember that, Rob Hunt ('65) may have had a hand in that. He was one of the singers who did the original song when they did West Side Story.
I wrote a parody of Peter, Paul and Mary's Very Last Day for, I think, the senior assembly just prior to graduation. It mentioned "talk about the wisdom of Lowell", because I needed it for the rhyme! I think Rob and maybe Randy Coplen sang it at the assembly.

Thank you Bill for providing the website address for the families' tribute to Tim. My Search engine didn't bring up the website, so I had to copy and paste it into the address line. It features a great photo of Tim and his dog.

The Miami GP Iis this weekend. It is being broadcast on ABC live today (ESPN).
