Met Donna Harrington (Evergreen High School, Class of '69) at a picnic hosted by her parents on July 4, 1969. Told her I loved her on July 9th, proposed on July 13th and presented the engagement ring to her on October 10th by the fountain near the Space Needle. Waited until I returned from Vietnam to be married in Burien in December 1970.
