EDWIN CARL GUTHRIE Died August 7, 2003. Ed was born in Anderson, S.C. on October 27, 1945. Ed was repairing a building he owned in Des Moines, WA when he fell from scaffolding and landed on his head.

Eddie was another Pirate that transfered in during his junior year. Always hard to do. I knew him well enough only to say hi when passing in the hall.
I am saddened that his life was cut short by such a horrible accident.

I knew Ed and the Guthrie family as I dated his sister Sandra. Tough way to go. RIP Ed.
