We have received the following information about Pat's passing:
Pat had open heart surgery 10 years ago. She had lung cancer last year. She had been on oxygen for about 3 years.
Pat married John Johanson (class of 64) a few years ago and they were living in Las Vegas. Pat had a son who lives in Alaska and a daughter who lives in Oregon. She had a chance to see her children last month.
We will pass along any further information if we receive it.

Goodbye sweet girl. I'll never forget you.
Karen Peterson (Elias)
A note to Pat,
I am so sad,
I will miss you my dear sweet loving friend.
What fun to have hooked up with you, John and Karen R at our class reunion several years back. After our Pizza get together at our home, you and John married, and traveled with your 5th wheel, we kept in contact which was nice.
When you and John moved to Las Vegas, we didn't get to see you but kept in touch, through E-mail mostly and the Special Christmas phone call you would always make saying Hi Karen, this is Pat and THIS is your Christmas Card! I loved and will miss those calls, we had such fun conversations and did a lot of laughing, I will always remember what fun we had talking and what fun we had all those years ago in High School.
I am happy knowing how happy you were to have John, and my heart goes out to John and your kids and grand children. So happy they got a visit this summer , know you always looked forward to that visit. I am so sorry for all the health struggles you had to endure , and wish we could have had you dear friend in our lives longer .
I will miss you and love you always, Karen

I was so very very sad to hear the news that Patrice passed away. We were the very best of friends from grand school through highschool. We never failed to keep in touch with each other no matter the circumstances. Patrice always cared so much for her friends and never really wanted to talk about herself. I am going to miss her deeply. There are so many memories to share about her, but in fact there isn't enough space allowed for that. Perhaps at a later date I will return and share a few wonderful and priceless moments with all. Rest in peace dear friend.
