Joan Thompson Garot

Age 71. Passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on August 5, 2017 in Kent, WA after a long battle with Mesothelioma. Joan is survived by Eugene Garot, her husband of 37 years; 3 children - Maria Lund, Deanna Colson and Tony DeSylva. Also, 4 step-children - Denise Kraft, Dennis Garot, Karen Carroll and David Seastone as well as 16 grandchildren; brother Richard Thompson and sisters Marge Quick and Sue Brisco.

Joan was an active member of East Hill Baptist Church in Kent, WA. Joan was an avid gardener & reader. She liked arts & crafts and sewing and loved to help others with her generous heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
