What a great!!!!!! person.  I remember him often and visited "The Wall" at the D.C. mall to see his name and Jim Pollard's name.   Even in high school, he preached Saturday nights at a barn like facility near the intersection of Memorial Drive and the Three Tree Point-Renton Hiway behind what is now a Chevron station.  How impassioned he was in finding his vocation and avocation all in one.  He was Inspirational Athlete of the Year for our class, having been QB for most of the season, played basketball and baseball.  Toward the middle of the season a sophomore replaced him at QB, Gene Tomlison.  I remember the humility and grace with which Bob accepted the coaches' decision.
