
Steven Edward THOMPSON June 10, 1967- July 14, 2010 Steven was born in Burien, Wash., he attended Highline High School in Burien, Parkrose High School in Oregon and Highline Community College in Federal Way. In his adolescent years he excelled in sports especially football. He was Deep Sea diver and a Merchant Mariner, he also did a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps. As a merchant mariner Steven saw the world and he enjoyed the experience, he embraced life to the fullest. Steven loved his family and he will be missed. He is survived by his mother Kathleen Moore of Mexico; grandmother, Rose Goodman of Gig Harbor; father, Harry Thompson of Oregon; Sisters Bridget and Stacey Thompson; brother Harry Thompson Jr. all of Alaska: numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held with full military honors at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash. at 2 pm Sept. 10, 2010. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Normandy Park Community Club, Normandy Park Wash. at 2 pm Sept. 11, 2010. Please send remembrances to St Jude Children's Hospital.
