 George W. Rerecich George was unexpectedly taken from his family and friends on June 27th, 2005. Born on January 1, 1961 in Burien, WA, he graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Seattle and went on to graduate from Central Washington University. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Natalie, his children Austin and Jake; his mother Ann; and his brother Robert Rerecich Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Rerecich. George was loved by many in his community and in his profession. He made your day better by being a part of it. George was best at being a loving father, husband and best friend to his children and wife. He enjoyed family camping trips and vacations, playing sports with his boys, fishing in Alaska, golfing with his friends and at times, just being a big kid. He enjoyed life and wanted you to enjoy it with him. His energetic smile filled the room when he walked in. George, you were my world, my love and my life. I couldn't have asked for a better man to spend my life with and a better father to our kids. Your love for us and gift of life will greatly be missed, but never forgotten. Until we meet again, my love. I am forever yours. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6th, 2005 at Powers Funeral Home, 320 West Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, WA 98371. The viewing will be available prior to and following the services. A gathering to celebrate George's life will be held after the service at the Rerecich home, 2211 215th Ave. E., Sumner, WA 98390. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Austin and Jake Rerecich fund at any Bank of America branch. Please reference account number 81034100. |

I went to St. Philomena with George, and remember him as one of those guys who got along with everyone. He liked to have fun, but was not the kind of guy who had fun at someone else's expense. I was sad to hear of his passing.Betsy (Sanders) Abercrombie

George was one of my best friends for a period of time in HS. I am still to this day, devistated about his passing. He was SOOO reliable, funny, loving, and honorable. I beleive he had kids. They should be very proud of having him for a father.Thomas Miller
I remember George as Pretty Boy. He always had the girls trailing him. He was a dear friend that drove the shiny Red Celica. Many of beers tossed back with this guy in High School and at WSU. But always the one who kept sane. Carl Crow, Scott Knutson, Matt Gentry and George were always around the action. I had met up with George after returning from Alaska. I hadn't heard of George's passing or that of our other classmates. It saddens me. What happened?George had an endearing pet name for me that sometimes drove me crazy and other times made me smile. What I would give to hear "hey midget" in the halls of Kennedy again. Makes me smile just thinking of it..... :)

I remember going to one of the Halloween movies with Dave Paulson & George. When the kid flew out of the closet I screamed bloody murder and scared the daylights out of them! We had a great time that night. It's a small world - my husband's mother was his mom's roommate! I will always remember George fondly.Stephanie Foy Whiting

I remember Freshamn year, everyone thought George and I should date because of our names. What a powerful team! We both laughed at each other in the halls as the years went on, we never did date, just friends, and that was good! Stay cool George, love Martha
