As everybody knows me and John were one in the same in school. You did not see one with out the other. Confided in each other and we thought of the other as a brother. John would do anything to help a friend out and he did it often. John had many passions in life such as music, going to concerts and camping. We went to many cocerts together and I cannot go to one now without thinking of him. The Who on my birthday in 89' had to have been the most memorable.Every time I hear Ozzy and Led Zeppelin, I think of him because that is what he most listened to. John loved life and he made it known quite often. After joining the military I would call him from another country and he always told me that he wished he could have joined with me so we could still hang around together. John still brings me joy and tears every time I think of him and our school days together. I know that I and many others will miss him dearly. Richard Strachan
when I moved into town in the 8th grade it was horrible(bad time to move for a kid), but John made it so much better for me. He was always there at my locker hanging around, making me laugh. When i got onto this sight he was the first one i looked for and after all these years it hurt to know that i would never see him again. I have regretted, since high school, losing track of him. Some people just have a lasting impression on your life. John was my middle school memory that i will carry with me for life. If anyone has photos of John throughout his life can you send them to me or post them? Merry
