| CARLSBAD - Hilary Ray Dials, 36, of North Alameda Street, passed away December 10, 2006 at her home.
A memorial service is scheduled for 5 p.m. today at Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Bruce and Rev. David Lane officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Hilary Ray Dials was born on November 28, 1970, to Dr. James Dowling and Dr. Cheryl Laird Dowling in Bangkok, Thailand. She attended Texas A & M University. Hilary worked in the TV and radio industry as a broadcast personality in Albuquerque, Dallas and New Orleans. She was an active member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. Hilary was a very caring person who was always reaching out to help others. Closest to Hilary's heart were her husband and children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Dials of Carlsbad; son Noah Paul Dowling-Lujan of Carlsbad; daughter, Riley Ray Dials of Carlsbad; parents, Dr. James Dowling & Dr. Cheryl Laird Dowling of Carlsbad; father and mother-in-law George and Pam Dials of Oakridge, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Heather McElhinney, husband Charles and their daughter Cameron; uncle and aunt, Rev. and Mrs. David Lane of Atlanta, Ga.; aunt, Mrs. Paul Laird of Irving, Texas; uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Laird of Hot Springs Village, Ark.
She is also survived by her cousins: Mr. and Mrs. David Lane, II of Atlanta, Ga.; Major and Mrs. Derek Lane of Camp Le Jeune, N.C.; Mr. Craig Laird of Irving, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. David Phillips of Houston; Mrs. Ann Savage, Mrs. Jane Van Burkleo and Ms. Sue Craig, all of Midwest City, Okla.; Mrs. Donna Watson of Tulsa, Okla.; along with godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hartmann of Dallas; and "uncle and aunt" Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wasowski of Taos.
