Hey Everybody:
This site came about as a result of Facebook, actually, which has provided us "old folk" a place to say hello and re-connect with one another in a very low-anxiety environment. If you had asked me two years ago if I would be attending a 20-year reunion, I probably would have shrugged, thought about it absently, and then decided last-minute whether I had nothing else planned (and then stressed over what to wear :) However, through recent Facebook interactions with some truly lovely people, a high school reunion suddenly doesn't seem so ... intimidating.
And since we are all turning 40 within the year (gulp!), we might as well all go down together.
Hence the idea of a 22-Year Reunion / 40th Birthday Party was born.
We have a good few people who have volunteered to organize the Summer 2009 Family Picnic and Adult Night Out, and if you would like to be one of those people, your time and good intentions would be very appreciated.
Let's have fun with this, gang! Spread the word to other BHS 1987 alums, if you can.
