Though I spent four years in Mrs. Kohler's German class with Glenn, I didn't understand his brilliance until I had roomed freshman-year with him at Oregon. He was truely one of the smartest guys I've ever known. He went on to graduate from Cal Berkeley and then Boalt Hall law school. I'm told he was top 3 in law school. Ultimately, he became a full partner at Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro in SF. He was quiet, very serious (even then) and mature beyond his years. He was always in great shape, and, I'm told, kayaking at the time of his death. So long roomie. Bill Walsh
