I remember Margie. She was always quiet. The ironic thing is she was in my first grade class when my family moved back to Burlington. We moved again and I didn't meet up with her again until we got to Cummings. She was a very sweet and caring person.

Margie was one of my closest friends in high school. She was very shy until you got to know her. She was a true friend. I remember visiting with her at her home with her husband and family when she was taking her last breath of life on earth. She never complained once while she was sick. She was always thinking of her children and her family instead of herself. I remember thinking of how strong she was as a person. I will carry her smile and laughter and all our great memories in my heart forever.

I miss you Margie!
I love you,
Marilyn

I remember Margie, she was one of my closest friends. I remember the good times we had at the skating rink.
I still can't believe she's gone. I see her kids once and a while and they are doing really good and one looks just like her.

Love you Margie and will miss you forever!!!

Margie, Fay and I have been friends since childhood. We all lived about a block from one another for years- We were alway together doing something- whether it was going to the skating rink or hanging out at each other's home. Margie and her family moved across town- which broke my heart but by then I was driving so we could still get together and hang out. That started the main street drag- up to McDonald's -then up Graham Hopedale Rd either to Fairchild Park or the Carwash. We waisted a lot of gas riding- but we had so much fun. Margie has always been a special part of my family. Everyone always said that she looked more like my mom than I did. Which was true- She was the red-headed child my mom wished for. I was with her the night her courageous 4yr battle with cancer ended. It was the saddest day of my life. My best friend was gone from my world-but never from my heart and I will always cherish the wonderful friendship we shared.
