I have great memories of Keith. He was an amusing soul, although his home life was troubled. We became casual friends at Broadview when he was still a year ahead of us. He signed my seventh grade annual and addressed me as 'Bad Knee Jones' because of my dislocation troubles.
In ninth grade, right around prom time, I remember him being in my boyfriend's Camaro out in the parking lot of the Burlington Youth Center. He had spilled a drink in his lap and was trying to dry himself with a hair dryer, plugged into the cigarette lighter. He looked at me and said "Go find me a date." I walked back down to the Youth Center and asked Michelle West (WHS '84) if she knew him. She said "Introduce me." The four of us went to the prom together. The funniest part about that night...he boogied too much and split his pants!
When I moved to the other side of town and attended Williams for a short time, we lost touch. We saw each other sporadically in our junior year, but he didn't graduate with us. I didn't see him again until 1988 when we worked together, briefly, at Blue Ridge Hardware. That was the last time I saw him. I was shocked when Wendy Brown Klein told me of his passing. He had a good heart and died too young.
Beverly Dix
Fondest memory is Keith bribing Jon Robertson to swallow a live goldfish at one of the get togethers he had at his parents home.I remember his larger than life smile and his genuine spirit.
