Wayne passed away right before Christmas 2007. What an awesome classmate he was. Our drum major, our Homecoming and Prom King, our Junior Class President and I'm sure so much more. He served his fellow classmates with love and passion and always kept us rockin' with his seriously banging percussion! He was my neighborhood brother and dear friend. He didn't let us down and so we need to always remember Eric Wayne Shoffner.

I am so shocked to find that Wayne passed away. I know if he could come back he would say, "no way". He was a smile that somedays I didn't have and laugh that never stopped. What a lost! He will be truly missed.

Ok, I remember being in band with Wayne, and the best thing I remember about him is the fact that he was somewhat shy, and I could always embarrass him really well!! We'll leave it at that!!

I basically grew up with Wayne and the other fellows from Petersburg. Wayne was one of those people who could always make you laugh even if your day was just plain terrible. He was always the sharpest dresser and on top of every new dance. I always admired the way he could liven up the room and have the girls flock to him. I am glad to say that he was my friend and will truly be missed.

What I remember about Wayne was his laugh and how he made people laugh around him. If he was having a bad day,you never really knew it. He will always be missed.

Remebering Wayne...the good times in CHS Band! Wayne and I (of course were fans of A & T Marching Machine), would always try to get the CHS band to losen up a little and jam. Wayne was so much fun to be around and I will alway cherish our good times @ CHS.
