BURLINGTON - Mr. Steven Lyle Cobb, 49, of 231 Silverlake Drive, Burlington died at his residence on Monday, November 29, 2010.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Fred D. Cobb and Rose Marie Yarbrough Cobb, both deceased. He was a graduate of Elon University and Alamance Community College and formerly employed by Bank of America in Greensboro. Steven was a member of the First Baptist Church of Burlington.
Survivors include a brother, Bryan Cobb and wife Lettie of Greensboro; and two nephews, Jeff Franks and Gavin Cobb, both of Greensboro.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Linza Layman-Coffee with the family receiving friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
