This is a real tough one to hear about. I always thought Glenda was such a sweetheart, a very nice girl.
I will always treasure visiting with her and Judy Lesage in that big white house atop the hill in MV when I came home from college. Only was a few times, but it has stuck in my memory. For some reason I remember listening to Carol King's Tapestry album and Rod Stewart's Every Picture Tells A Story album when I visited. I was really hoping that both Glenda and Judy would be coming to the reunion this summer.
Rest In Peace, Glenda! You will be greatly missed.
Oh my, this was a shock. Glenda and I were close friends in grade school and high school. Then we lost touch after I moved away. So sad to hear she passed away. Cancer is evil. Rest in peace, Glenda. You will be missed by many.
So sorry to lose another classmate. Glenda was always sweet. Dont know if I can make it this summer, but I'll try . Cancer is a terrable thing. She will always be remembered.
Wow - I'm very sad. I had no idea Glenda was so sick. I'm shocked. She was part of a high school girl group that had some fun times together! Sleep overs, dragging the gut, football games and alot more. I hadn't seen Glenda in years. Beautiful fun girl she was. Bless all those who will miss her.
I am so sad to have heard about Glenda passing. We were close Friends in grade school and continued in high school. I have a lot of good memories with Glenda, very hard to think of Her being gone.i spent a lot of nights at Her house, as She did mine, having fun trying on new makeup and staying up til all hours watching movies and just talking, worked in the bulb fields together, double dated including a couple proms, and had many secretarial courses with Her in high school. Years went by after high school that We didn't keep in touch, but later on became Friends on Facebook messaging each other, She knew We went to Disneyland quite often and We had talked about getting together where Her and John lived in Long Beach, but it didn't happen, wish now it could have happened.😔
I will never forget Glenda's smile and her laughter, She was such a beautiful person, inside and out and a genuine Friend, always made you feel good just being around Her, and always went out of Her way to just be there when You needed a good Friend. My heart goes out to her husband, John, Her Family and all Her Friends, who knew and loved Her so much. 🩷💐
