Hi all, my sister got a call from Tracie Caulcutt this morning letting me know that her Mom, Karen, passed away at 1:45 this morning. She had an intestinal blockage and then came down with pneumonia, she was moved to hospice a few days ago. As you can tell it was fairly sudden and I believe that things progressed rather quickly. They are not sure what they are going to do for her service. Karen Married my cousin Ron Robertson and has been a member of our family since High School. karen and Ron would often attend family and holiday gatherings over the years. I ast seen her at my mother's memorial a couple months ago. We will try to only remember the good memories and rest in peace.

Karen and I have been friends and kept in close touch for nearly 50 years! We started having fun together  a long time ago in our freshman year of high school. During the years I lived out of state we continued to write each other. We had a lot of silly adventures together. She was always fun to be with shopping, eating, & visiting.

Ron and Karen had a wonderful long marriage and friendship. They did everything together! He took such good care of her and loved her so much. The Angels came and got her last Sunday and took her to heaven to see other family members and friends we miss.

I have already been missing the Karen I've always known for the last few years. I can't believe she is gone now. I will always cherish the friendship we had. I miss her.

Love Your Forever Friend - Dolores

Karen and I were best friends in High School.  We met the first week of school and were friends from that day on and did everything together!  We created so many memories and I will miss her always, but know that she is finally in peace.  She was a wonderful friend and we shared happy times and were always there for each other in hard times too. I moved out of state for quite a few years so we lost touch but the bond we had made iin High School and the years after before I moved will be etched in my heart forever!  I moved back to this area a little over a year ago and even though Karen had been battling her illness for over 8 years at that time, when I saw her at a party at her daughter, Tracie's house, she said "Oh it's You!"  It was like no time had passed at all!  Dolores and I spent some time the last few days with Karen while she was in the Hospital and Hospice and were able to say Goodbye and also see the love that Ron had for her and how dedicated he was to Karen. It was heartwarming.   I will never ever forget you my friend, and will miss you always but will  forever remember precious moments we had together and smile.  I love you Karen.

It seems at some time Karen rode our bus to school. I think the route got changed and Karen showed up. New kids on the bus. Karen always, always, always seemed a very nice person since little girl times. Her close frriends and family will miss her dearly. It's so hard to believe we were what we were. Like something from another planet.

May the Good Lord be with you, Karen.
