William Benson Obituary

William (Billy) Dean Benson died at the age of 64 on May 2, 2023.

A public viewing for William will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Kern Funeral Home, 1122 South Third St., Mount Vernon, WA 98273. Further details about the service are yet to be announced.

William was born on April 28, 1959, in Mount Vernon, where he also resided. He worked as a mechanic.

William is survived by his sons Morgan, Taylor, and Dylan Benson, daughter-in-law Rochelle Benson, and grandchildren Sydney Benson, Genevieve Martin, and Micah Martin. He is also survived by his sisters Betsy Christianson, Suzi Janicki, Cathy Jenson, Cheri Hockett, Julie MacKenzie, and Jenny Babcock. Preceding him in death were his father William Benson, mother Joyce Benson, half-brother Mike Bogh, brother-in-law Leland Fisher, brother-in-law Mark Christianson, and cousin Ben Blair. He is also survived by his nephew Nathan Janicki.
