After graduating from WWU, I moved to Seattle and worked in lending/mortgages for a couple years. Not ready to settle down into a career yet, I headed over to Germany to work for the U.S. Department of Defense (R&R facility) in a town called Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I had planned on only staying for 6 months, but I loved my job and stayed much longer -I worked summers at a golf pro shop and winters at a ski lodge. I left Germany in the fall of 2000, stopping on my way back to Seattle, for a 6-month journey in SE Asia-great experience! Once back in Seattle, I sold office equipment for 2 years (in my opinion my worst job ever -working at age 15 in the spinach fields was better by far!) The best thing about the job, was one of my co-workers introduced me to my fiancé. (Jeff and I have been together for 5 ½ years and moved to Edmonds a few years ago.) Five years ago I moved over to pharmaceutical sales and work as a drug rep for a dermatology company. The territory I handle is Western Washington, so if you are ever in a dermatologists office, or to a lesser extent a pediatric office in the region, you may see me. Life is great, more free time would be wonderful; but, it appears that is not exactly in the immediate future as we are going to be starting yet another chapter in our lives this fall when we welcome our first child, a baby boy. We are really excited-if a little overwhelmed; do babies really need all that stuff?
