I left my job in architecture in San Francisco 3-1/2 years ago to enter an MFA program in Creative Writing at Texas State University. I completed the program, but am still in Austin with my boyfriend, Mark, working as an estimator in the construction industry, publishing short stories here and there, and enjoying the weather.
