In Memory of Aaron Randall Barr Check

August 25, 1976 ~ January 15, 2003

Aaron Randall Barr Check was born August 25, 1976, to parents Randy and Kim (Barr) Check in Ames, Iowa.  Aaron attended Southeast Webster Community Schools.  He married Shawna Witthuhn August 8, 1998.  Aaron lived in Story City, Iowa, the last three years.  He attended Grace United Methodist Church in Story City and worked at Pella Corporation and for Services Unlimited in Story City.  Aaron graduated DMACC in 2001 with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences in Computer Aided Drafting.  Aaron liked canoeing, boating, and enjoyed his children and family.

Aaron passed away January 15, 2003, in Story City at 26 years of age.

Aaron is survived by his wife Shawna, of Story City; his mother Kim Kiesey of Burnside, Iowa; his daughter Maryssa Check of Story City; his son Marcus Check of Story City; his sister Amy Freeman of Jewell, Iowa; his grandparents Dale and Jackie Barr of Storm Lake, Iowa; and his grandparent Carolyn Check of Sun City, Arizona.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Randy Check; and his grandparents Ralph and Helen Check.
