Two things I remember about Dan. He was in my gym class and I'm pretty sure he was on the football team too. Some people in the locker room would say: "Riebel's wobble but they don't fall down!" a famous catch phrase from a TV commercial for Weebles.
I'm also pretty sure his mom was a lunch lady at Nicollet.
You were a good kid, Dan. I think about how lucky I am to have made it this far. Your life was short but you left your mark with me and many others. God bless.
