Regina Fallecker Spafford

I graduated from BC3 in 1973 as a LPN and relocated to Hershey, Pa and was employed by the Hershey Medical Center till 1980.

I returned to the area and worked in Northeast Butler County at a Rural Health Clinic for 18 years. I returned to school part-time for 12 years and received my Associates' Degree in Nursing at BC3 in 2009. I have had many other employments in nursing over the years and I have been at the Butler VA for 16 years as a L.P.N. and now as Registered Nurse since 2009.

I had my first daughter when I was 33 years old and she is now a lawyer with a jurous doctorate from Duquesne in Pittsburgh and my second daughter, was born in 1988 when I was 35 years old. She has her doctorate in Opera and Voice Performance and teaches at a college in Virginia.

I will probably continue my nursing career to I'm at least 70. I have been a nurse for 44 years and have dedicated my life to those in need.

It's 2024 and I retired from Nursing at the Butler, VA in April of 2023. It sure is difficult adjusting to not working as a nurse after 44 years. I am caring for my twin grand daughters who are 2 yo.
