Nurse's aide at Moniteau schools also worked at UCH

Susan M. (Forcht) Cooper, 228 Grubb Road, Boyers, died at 8:19 p.m. Monday (7-10-00) in United Community Hospital, Pine Township, of natural causes. She was 44.

Mrs. Cooper was born March 14, 1956, in Butler County, to Gerald Leo Forcht and Doris Mae Cornibe Forcht Sweeney.

She was a graduate of Butler County Community College's School of Nursing, where she earned an associate degree in nursing.

Mrs. Cooper was a nurse's assistant in the Moniteau School District, West Sunbury; and had worked at the Dassa McKinney and Washington Elementary schools.

She also had worked as a registered nurse for United Community Hospital; and Butler Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are: her husband, Leonard S. Cooper, whom she married August 1, 1981, at home; two daughters, Alysa M. and Rachel A., both at home; her mother, Doris (Forcht) Sweeney, Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Jeanne) Graff, Saxonburg; Mrs. Wesley (Connie) Channing, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Mrs. William (JoAnne) Ripple, Kent-wood, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her father.

    Service: Funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Friday (7-14-00) in the funeral home, with the Rev. Willard Morse, pastor of Harrisville United Methodist Church, officiating.
    Burial: Harmony Cemetery, Harrisville.
