Ronald E. “Fonz” Boyle, 56, of McEvoy Road, Cabot, died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Butler, Feb. 3, 1955, a son of the late Charles and Mabel Albert Boyle.
Ron formerly had a Butler Eagle newspaper delivery route and worked at the PARC in Butler.
He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and always followed the Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. He also was a member of the Pool League at the T-Bar.
Surviving are a sister, Helen (Richard) Claypoole of Parker; five brothers, Kenneth (Shirley) Boyle of Butler, Donald Boyle of Fenelton, Raymond (Peggy) Boyle of Chicora, Robert (Jane) Boyle of West Sunbury and Larry (Vicky) Boyle of Butler; his good friends who helped him, Tracy Snyder, Amy Rhodaberger, Sue Black and Donna Lynn Crispin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles W. Boyle and James Boyle; and three sisters, Marjorie Davidson, Roberta Pryor and Margaret Boyle.
BOYLE — Friends of Ronald E. “Fonz” Boyle, who died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from noon to 2 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Following cremation, inurnment will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
