John M. Taylor

John M. Taylor, 54, of Butler died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 21, 1953, in Kittanning, the son of the late Herbert B. and Frances M. Steim Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army veteran, who served in the VietnamWar.
He was a roofer for Penn-Ro Associates of Gibsonia.
Mr. Taylor was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, the Slovak Club and American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Taylor of Butler; his companion, Dee Stabley of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Kathy) McAfee of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. John (Ellen) White of Wilmington, N.C., and Mrs. Alan (Jean) Rupert of Freeport; and a number of nieces and nephews.
TAYLOR — Friends of John M. Taylor, who died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center. Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Kittanning.

Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at the church at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday to recite the Rosary.
