Dennis Frederick, 77, passed away September 29, 2022, at a local hospice facility, surrounded by his loving family. Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and soon to be great-grandfather.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life and food afterwards at 1:00 at the American Legion 626 at 1125 Burton Hill Rd. Graveside committal with military honors is scheduled for 11:15 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18th at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Dennis was born to James and Magdalen Frederick in Butler, PA, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Butler High School in 1964. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving and retiring from the U.S. Air Force. Dennis worked for the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department as a Jailer and retired as a Sheriff Deputy. He was a proud and faithful member of American Legion 626. Dennis was an avid golfer until his health prevented him from playing.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Norma Knauer; and stepdaughter, Amanda Mitchell.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marilyn; daughter, Nicole Lafrance and husband, Michael; stepson, John Mitchell; four grandchildren, Whitney, Lexi, and John Mitchell, and Lauryn Djeralfia of Florida; and sister, Judy Fry (Harry) of Butler, Pa.
