Joseph M. Smallwood, 75, formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, in Arizona.
Born Jan. 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Bertha Dade and Joseph H. Smallwood.
Joseph was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from the motion picture industry and was also a retiree of the operating engineers.
He is survived by his sister, Beverly Smallwood; and two brothers, Alan Smallwood and Richard Massey, all of Butler. He is also survived by his life partner, Gloria Gillis.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his stepmother, Georgia Smallwood; and one son, three sisters and one brother.
SMALLWOOD - A memorial service to honor the life of Joseph M. Smallwood, who died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
