Rachel Ann Daly died early Monday morning, Feb. 2, 2009, in St. James Healthcare.

Rachel considered working at Montana Orthopedics her job, but family was her chosen career. She was devoted to her daughter, Alysha. Anything that involved Alysha, involved Rachel.

Next to her love of family was her love of fun. Rachel was a “Montana Gal” through and through. She embraced the spirit of the great outdoors with gusto. She loved to hunt, fish, four-wheel, snowmobile ... if it was outside, it was Rachel’s cup of tea. She spent countless happy hours with her family and friends at their cabin in the Big Hole. There was no elk too big, no mountain too high, or trail too long.

She is survived by her husband, Nick; and daughter, Alysha.
