In Memory

Talliesin Dodd Hayden

On Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, Dodd Hayden, 38, was involved in a tragic work accident and left us to be with his dad.

Dodd was born on Feb. 2, 1970, in Butte, to Tally and Marcy Hayden. He lived in Butte all of his life until he recently relocated to Grand Junction, Colo., to work for Halliburton and to make a better life for his family.

Dodd’s true passion in life was music. He was an amazing drummer, playing in various bands around Butte. He traveled to many concerts with his mother; he truly enjoyed this time with her. This is also where he bonded with his best friend, Izzy; they remained very close till his death.

His other passion was riding his Harley. This is where he felt most alive.

Dodd married Jenny Sparks, the true love of his life and soulmate, in August 2005. They had a son, Zakk, together, but he was also a terrific stepfather to Cody and Jordana. He truly loved being a dad to all three kids.

Dodd is survived by his loving wife, Jenny; three kids, Cody, Jordana and Zakk.

My best memories of Dodd are that he always had a smile on his face. I never seen him in a down mood. Dodd was a very likeable type of guy. When I attended his services, the intro song was played by Rush. Now every time I hear any song by Rush I think of Dodd.

Dodd was the sweetest guy I've ever known. Through the years, he always had a smile & a minute or two to gab no matter where I saw him. RIP, Dodd.

Dodd introduced me to KISS when we were about 10 or 11 years old. Thank you for that and for always having a smile on your face. You are one of the Good guys and will always be remembered.
