Is this Jim's brother?

Monty went to Whittier grade school and then moved up to the West side of Butte and attended West Junior High. He was a good kid who had some rough times.

Pretty sure Monty is Jim's cousin.

I remember hanging out with Monty and his crazy smile. He ALWAYS smiled and ALWAYS joked and teased with me. There was a time when he walked by my house with a b-b gun. I remember asking him, "Dude, what are you doing?" He teased and said that he was going to shoot birds. In my girly way, I told him not to be mean and I made him promise. He promised. I left my house for a while, came back home and on my front step was a dead pigeon. I frowned and then laughed. It was just like Monte. He always gave me a hard time and then would later put his arm around me and say, "your not mad are you?". I have thought about him countless times over the last many years. Miss you and your smile, Monty.

Monty was a kind and generious person once you got to know him. We were able to get into some trouble together but he was the one to talk us out of it. Miss you Bro.

Eugene (Monte) and I dated when we went to West Jr. High. He had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor. He always made me feel special. We had alot of good times. I will miss him.

I remember playing baseball with Monty. I don't think he had a serious bone in his body while out there. The pictures I have show him with that big ole' grin....
