Eric John Erskine

CADILLAC - Eric John Erskine of Cadillac passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2009. He was 31.

Eric was born March 30, 1977 to his parents John and Fran in Ann Arbor. He was employed as a welder fabricator until recently. Eric was a talented artist who loved to create all kinds of drawings. He loved spending time with his family and children, playing video games, and watching football together. Eric loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed his spiritual walk with Him.

Eric is survived by his significant other, Gena Sharp; children, Aislynn and Farren Erskine; father, Johnny (LeAnna) Erskine of New Hudson; mother, Frances (Brian) Dinnan of Dallas; sister, Misty (Ben) Erskine of Wisconsin; half brothers, Jacob Miller of Manchester, David Gasparetto of Dallas and Schyler Erskine of New Hudson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Eric was preceded in death by his niece, Raelynn Erskine and half sister, Ashley Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home in Cadillac. Pastor Will Markham will officiate.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and from noon until the time of the funeral on Wednesday. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Eric’s family.
