I'll be honest...I wasn't a huge fan of "The Giver" or "Great Expectations."  Although, it might be a little unfair of me to bag on Great Expectations because, truth be told, i never even read the whole thing.  Did anyone even read that whole book?

I definitely did NOT read Great Expectations.  I particularly remember not liking The Great Gatsby which we read in Mr. Johnson's class.  The other one I didn't like was Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.  When I got married and my husband and I were combining our books, I noticed he had a copy of Things Fall Apart and it is one of his favorite books.  I couldn't believe he liked it!
