After he left Calipatria High, Jim Moss went to teach at Snake River Junior High near Blackfoot, ID.  He retired at the age of 65 in 2005.  His passions were hunting, fishing, his wife, 10 children and over 35 grandchildren.

Mr. Moss was a caring and dedicated teacher, father, and husband.  He died in an unfortunate fishing accident.  Mr. Moss is missed by all.

Mr. Moss is survived by his wife Sharon Moss; his children Diane Acosta, Shane Moss, Holly Patterson, Mike Moss, Gary Moss, Julie Ilander, Nathan Moss, Jimmie Moss, Christopher Moss, and Crystal Moss.
