Linda Dickey (Beal)

Linda Kay Beal, 52, of Bella Vista died Monday, March 3, 2008, a St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Sept. 21, 1955, in Bonne Terre, Mo., to Robert Dickey and Alice Ferguson Dickey.  She was raised and educated in Potosi, Mo., and Camden, Arkansas. She graduated with a B.S. in education from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. Linda Kay married Kenneth James Beal on Dec. 18, 1976, in Camden. She and her husband raised their children in Fort Collins, Colo., where she was a devoted mother and active member of First Baptist Church. They moved to Bella Vista in April 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Beal of Bella Vista; parents, Robert and Alice Dickey of Bella Vista; one daughter, Christa Beal of Dallas; two sons, Jeremy Beal of Bankalan, Indonesia, and Matthew Beal of Denver; three sisters, Rhonda Caplena and her husband, Derin of Bella Vista, Roberta Bever of Bella Vista, and Julie Madison and her husband, Justin of Garland, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, at Bella Vista Baptist Church, located at 50 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, with the Rev. Michael McCauley officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR.
