CLIFTON -- Eugene Geimer, 85, died on Thursday.

Born in Newark, he lived in Wallington for 18 years before moving to Clifton in 1968. Mr. Geimer was a chemical compounder for Givaudan Corp. for 25 years before retiring in 1980. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church. Mr. Geimer, an Army veteran of World war II, was also a member of the Botany Village Leisure Club and AARP Chapter 878.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary De Vore.

Surviving is his wife, the former Linda Lucchin.

Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
