WORCESTER, WILLIAM EZRA, JR.,

William E. Worcester, Jr., Longwood, FL, 93, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Village on the Green, Longwood. He was born and raised in Thetford, Vermont and graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor's degree, then obtained his Masters from Columbia University. He was a Captain during World War II and was stationed in Britain in the Medical Corps. As a Board Certified Hospital Administrator, he joined the United States A.I.D. as a Foreign Service Officer and provided training and professional assistance in the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea and Nepal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, and he will be buried beside her in Thetford, Vermont. Survivors include his sisters, Ruth Mabel Johnson and Elizabeth Deilly, and his loving companion, Dolores Kraichman. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W.
