Susie and I were roommates after high school. We saved some money and set off on a road trip. We got as far as San Diego. We both loved it there. We went to Mexico as often as we could. You could be 18 and go to bars to drink and dance. If I could only choose one friend in life, Susie would be that person. Always positive, enthusiastic, and fun loving. She eventually got a teaching credential. Her husband and she moved to Utah. She died of misdiagnosed breast cancer. Sweet soul, long may you run.
